Privacy Policy

MergeSheet is a Google Workspace add-on. This policy explains what it accesses, what it stores, and what it shares. It is written to match exactly what the add-on's code does, because Google checks that a listed privacy policy matches real behavior before approving an app.

What we access

Only the files you choose. Specifically:

• The spreadsheet or document you have open when you use the add-on.
• The template document and output folder you select in the add-on's settings.

We do not access any other file in your Google Drive, and we do not browse your Drive.

What we store

• Your settings: the template document link and output folder link you saved.
• A count of how many documents you've generated this month, used only to apply the free plan limit.
• Your Google account email, used only to check whether your subscription is active.

This information is stored using Google's own Apps Script infrastructure (Properties Service), tied to your Google account. We do not operate a separate database, and we do not store the contents of your documents or spreadsheets.

Email feature

If you turn on the optional "email the finished document" setting, the add-on sends the generated PDF to the email address you specify, using your authorization. We do not read your inbox, and this permission is used for that one action only.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. We do not see, collect, or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment information you give them directly: stripe.com/privacy

What we share

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with any third party except Stripe, and only as needed to process payment.

How long we keep it

Your settings and usage count are kept for as long as you use the add-on. Uninstalling the add-on removes your saved settings.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, where required, notify users.
